Drug Dealing/ASB – Bolton Street/Hardy Street – Increased Patrol We will be increasing patrols around Bolton Street/Hardy Street with regards a serious concern that has been raised by residents around the Bolton Street and Hardy Street junction. Residents have reported ongoing suspected drug dealing and the buying and selling of drugs directly outside or close to residents’ doorsteps. This activity is reportedly taking place daily, generally between approximately 12:00pm and 1:00am. There are also significant concerns regarding noise and antisocial behaviour in the area. Many of the affected residents are families with young children who need to prepare for school and are struggling to sleep due to the ongoing noise and disturbance. There are further concerns that drugs are being sold to young people and children in the area, which is particularly worrying and requires urgent attention. Over the coming weeks we be carrying out a multi-Agency target approach by working with Partners carrying out joint patrolling and officer’s will be carrying out Stop Search in the area. If anybody has any further information, please email Neighbourhood Team direct on 63299@gmp.police.uk or to report incidents please ring 101. | ||
